CAOpen Hillside Views with a Modern Cable Railing Upgrade

This hillside deck in Ithaca was once framed by traditional white wood posts, visually enclosing much of the surrounding landscape.
In the deck railing renovation for David’s home, it was replaced with a sleek cable railing system — instantly transforming the space from enclosed to open. The new cable deck railing design removes visual barriers and allows uninterrupted views across the rolling green hills, blossoming trees, and distant valley scenery.

Now the deck feels lighter, more modern, and fully connected to nature. What was once a framed-in balcony has become a quiet outdoor retreat where the landscape is the true centerpiece.
