A Layered Outdoor Retreat with a Modern Cable Railing System

This Indiana outdoor space is designed around everyday use and easy movement across multiple levels. A modern cable railing system was chosen to keep the decks and stairs safe without closing off the space visually.

The slim black cables work quietly alongside stone walls, wood structures, and soft step lighting, allowing the outdoor areas to feel connected from day to night. With the cable railing system in place, the space feels open, well-defined, and comfortable for both daily use and evening gatherings.
