Priced right

I purchased this system after getting quotes from viewrail and ags stainless. About half the cost. Can’t say how much better those systems are but this one is sturdy. Packaging was good. Only complaint is the base plate covers had a hard time sliding over the top of the posts. Assuming it’s thicker on top from welding.

Easy to install after much trial and error

We ordered many types of poles and found they do not all work together (angle posts, 42 inch posts, etc. I recommend you limit the post types. Look at Muzata Website before ordering on Amazon. Amazon descriptions not as clear as website (part number). Once we finally got 7 posts that match up, easy to secure in wood base. The next step is to carefully cut the wire, ensuing it is long enough but not too long. You want the wires taught, not right. We did not see any instructions on how to use the wire fasteners (expensive, $225 for 20 so don't make the mistakes we made). There are 3 pieces for each wire. One side includes two pieces that screw together and the other wire is just one piece. Purchase the installation set from Amazon (wire cutter, crimper). Firmly secure the wire in the one piece side, put the wire through the holes, then crimp the other piece (photo below). You then put the piece into the final hole and you can tighten it up.

FAQs

1. What is the standard height for posts?

The height of posts is typically determined by building codes and design requirements, with common heights ranging from 36 to 42 inches.

2. What should be the spacing between posts?

Since Muzata handrail length is 6'6", we typically divide it into two 39" sections to reduce waste and enhance safety.
For a single section, we recommend keeping the distance between posts no more than 5 feet, and for continuous sections, no more than 54 inches. This is to ensure safety and the longevity of the railing system.

3. Can posts be customized?

You may contact the Muzata team for assistance. Typically, post heights are available in 36" and 42", meeting the requirements of most states. For specific regulations, please refer to the codes of your state.

4. What are the common materials for posts?

Common materials for posts include stainless steel, aluminum, wood, and concrete, with different materials suitable for various environments and design needs.

5. How to address rust issues with posts?

For rust issues, regular inspections should be conducted, and rust inhibitors should be applied. Replace the posts if necessary.
