How to install stair cable railing with CK24?

Today we are going to show you how to install Muzata CK24 thread stud terminal & stem ball kit for stair railing, which is an easy and cost-effective solution . It is made of 316 stainless steel and works on both wood and metal posts . Not only fit for horizontal but also for angled installation like stair railing, with the help of angled washer. This is 30 degree angled washer . It is useful for angled installation such as staircase railing.

1.Firstly we need to divide the height of post into equal distance and mark with a pencil . We should start with stemball side.

2.Drill a 30 degree through-hole with a 6.5mm drill bit , which is about 1/4 inch. It is highly recommended to use the help of angle drill attachment for precise angle.

3.Put the wire rope into stemball and crimp it with Muzata hydraulic crimper. Crimp twice on different positions to make sure the cable won't loose.

4.After that you can install it with angled washer on post.

5.Then we move to stud terminal side with pretty much the same steps.

Drill hole with 6.5mm drill bit , which is about 1/4 inch. Measure the length before Marking the position . Since the adjustable range of this terminal is not very wide, it is important to reserve less extra length on wire rope.

6.Cut the cable with Muzata cable cutter . as you can see the cutting profile is clean without fraying or smashing.

7.Install thread stud terminal and angled washer . tighten the nut to tense the cable. Put the cap on.

8.Then we have finished a run.
