It is ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications like decks, stairs, porches, balconies, and fences. However, if your project is located near the seaside or humid areas, Muzata aluminum posts PD01/PD02/PW01 are highly recommended for their super strong salt tolerance.
- Code compliance - This structural post is designed with 3" cable spacing. Generally, the span between two structural posts should not exceed 4 feet to pass the 4" sphere test. But it could be increased to 7 feet if you add an intermediate post between two structural posts. Search Muzata PS11 to get matched rectangular intermediate posts. Pls consult local building offices about the rules since there might be different requirements in some states.

- Muzata reserves the right to either refund, repair, or replace the product under warranty. All replacements and solutions are at the discretion of Muzata to offer.

We ordered many types of poles and found they do not all work together (angle posts, 42 inch posts, etc. I recommend you limit the post types. Look at Muzata Website before ordering on Amazon. Amazon descriptions not as clear as website (part number). Once we finally got 7 posts that match up, easy to secure in wood base. The next step is to carefully cut the wire, ensuing it is long enough but not too long. You want the wires taught, not right. We did not see any instructions on how to use the wire fasteners (expensive, $225 for 20 so don't make the mistakes we made). There are 3 pieces for each wire. One side includes two pieces that screw together and the other wire is just one piece. Purchase the installation set from Amazon (wire cutter, crimper). Firmly secure the wire in the one piece side, put the wire through the holes, then crimp the other piece (photo below). You then put the piece into the final hole and you can tighten it up.

Over the years I have installed many different railing systems. This is by far the best looking and easiest to install. What I like best is the invisible tensioning hardware, especially the type for wood posts. I have used both metal and wood post installations and both work great. Pretty ingenious I have to say.
