First off, I will state that the finished project looks great & it appears that the swages and lag screws will last. The process to install was simple enough to be done in a half day of well-planned work. My only complaint is the tool used to drive the screws. It seems to be made from a lower quality alloy. The tool would only last for about 8-10 lag screws before it would fracture due to metal fatigue - less for posts that were composed of denser wood. Repairing it was simple enough with a metal cutoff tool. But by the time I was done with the project, I was down to the nub on two tools. I will need to order another if I ever need to retension the lags. Please manufacture the tool with a more durable alloy for the job.

Product is exactly as described. Works well. For reference, I drilled my holes at 11/32 instead of 3/8. A little reminder though, drill them deep enough so the cable doesn’t get squashed in the post. It will allow the cable to turn when tightening.
If you want to create a really finished look, also buy the stainless steel adhesive hole cover kit. I did, and it makes the finished product look very professional.
Easy to install looks amazing. Get many compliments about railing. Only complaint is the tool used to tighten wire is flimsy and strips easily. Otherwise certainly buy again.
The look of stainless steel cable for a deck surround cannot be beaten.
Muzata invisible lag screws are easy to install and an affordable price.
